The SG range is available in size range 100mm- 2000mm as standard, but due to software programs used in the design process much larger and higher specification Penstocks are possible such as 3500mm x 3500mm to withstand operating heads of up to 15m.

The valve form part of the United Utilities planned asset management program. The valves will be operated by means of an electric actuator, which is suitable for both local and remote operation of the valve. The valves can be supplied in a size range of 100mm - 600mm dia and for draw off depth of up to 2000mm.
